LOW-PASS FILTERED EVENT SERIES

HRV signal obtained by filtering the R-wave event series by a low-pass filter.

If tn is the occurrence time of the n-th R-wave,and CE(t) the cardiac event series, then the low-pass filterd event series L(t) is given by:

where h(t) is the impulse response of the low-pass filter.
